Reacting To Suspicious Activities

  • Shopkeepers react to suspicious activities, such as shoplifting attempts or unauthorized entry into restricted areas (cashier or storage room).

  • Depending on the shopkeeper's characteristics and the severity of the situation, they may:

    • Confront the player, become aggressive and attempt to apprehend the player while demanding him to surrender.

    • Attack the player if perceived as an immediate threat.

  • The shopkeeper's actions can lead to an arrest sequence or physical combat, depending on the player's response, and the shopkeeper's character.


Surrender Behavior

  • Shopkeepers take into account factors such as the player's weapon, demeanor, and actions.

  • If the shopkeeper perceives the situation as too dangerous or their life is at risk, they may decide to surrender.

  • As part of the surrender process, the shopkeeper will offer the player access to register's money.

  • In addition to providing access to the register, the surrendering shopkeeper will also unlock the store's doors.

  • As a final act of compliance, the shopkeeper will provide necessary information, such as the safe's code, to the player.


Idle Behaviors
