🔫Realistic Robbery Mechanics

This resource aims to provide an immersive and authentic store robbery experience by incorporating various gameplay elements that mimic real-life scenarios

Shoplifting

  • Players can attempt to shoplift items from the store shelves without being noticed by the shopkeeper.

  • The success of shoplifting depends on factors such as the player's distance from the shopkeeper, their line of sight, and the shopkeeper's alertness level.

  • If caught, the shopkeeper may confront the player, leading to a negotiation or aggressive response.

Registers Stealables

  • Players can lockpick the cash registers to steal the money inside.

  • The lockpicking process requires skill and patience, with a chance of successfully opening the register.

  • If the player fails the lockpicking attempt it will trigger the store's alarm system.

  • Shopkeepers may also open the register and throw a money bag containing the contents of the main register.

Safe Stealables

  • Stores may have safes that contain valuable items and larger sums of money.

  • Players can attempt to crack the safe using a keypad or padlock minigame, depending on the store's configuration.

  • Safe cracking adds an extra layer of challenge and risk to the robbery, as it may require more time and skill to complete.

Alarm System

  • Stores are equipped with an alarm system that can be triggered during a robbery.

  • The alarm may be activated by the shopkeeper, failed lockpicking attempts, or other suspicious activities.

  • Once triggered, the alarm notifies the authorities and locks the doors.

  • The alarm also includes a distance based sound.

  • Players can either disable the alarm themselves or force the shopkeeper to disable it.

Randomized Elements

  • The resource includes randomized elements to enhance replayability and keep each robbery experience unique.

  • Factors such as the shopkeeper's behavior, available loot, and police response time can vary, creating dynamic and unpredictable scenarios.
